Pleasure Horse Awards

ASHA Pleasure Horse Awards are designed to recognize outstanding American Saddlebred pleasure horses. Awards are given annually on a national and state basis by ASHA to pleasure horse champions. Winners are awarded engraved Tiffany plates and are recognized in theAmerican Saddlebred eZine.

This special ASHA award is presented to the horse that accrues the most points during the competition year in particular pleasure divisions. ASHA recognizes the winner of the National Pleasure Horse Award at the ASHA Convention/Annual Meeting held each February.

National Pleasure Horse Awards

The National Pleasure Horse Awards recognizes horses that are consistent winners across the country at USEF Licensed Saddlebred competitions. The program, which crowns nine champions, uses a formula based on the number of entries in the class and the amount of prize money paid. Please review the National Pleasure Horse Awards Rules.

Past Winners:

ASHA National Pleasure Equitation Championship Class

State Pleasure Horse Awards

In 1983, the American Saddlebred Horse Association took over the duties of the American Saddlebred Pleasure Horse Association regarding the promotion of American Saddlebred horses as pleasure mounts.

The State Pleasure Horse Awards are given by a "high point" system as determined by an ASHA Charter Club. The owner must be a member of the Association and the recorded owner of the horse during the award year. Please review the State Pleasure Horse Awards Rules for more information.

Check with your local Charter Club about participating in this program. Visit our Clubs page to find the Charter Club in your area.
