ASB Museum Announces Lunchtime Lecture Series

The American Saddlebred Museum and International Museum of the Horse are pleased to announce a new Lunchtime Lecture Series. Join the Museums on the first Thursday of the month to learn about a wide variety of equine topics from an array of experts. The lecture location will alternate between institutions, both of which are located on the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park. Lecture is free of charge, box lunches are available for $11 and includes sandwich, chips, fruit and drink.
The first two lectures have been announced:
On Thursday, March 7, 12:30 p.m. Roda Ferraro, Head Librarian at the Keeneland Library will speak about their current exhibition “From the Vault: Historic Tracks” with a focus on racing fans’ engagement with U. S. tracks over time. Takes place at the International Museum of the Horse. Please RSVP for lunch by March 1 by calling 859-259-4232.
On Thursday, April 4, 12:30 p.m. Terri Dolan, Executive Director of ASHA will speak about the primary mission of the American Saddlebred Horse Association and its strategic plan to promote this breed. This will include its historical reference and the versatility of the breed today. Takes place at the American Saddlebred Museum. Please RSVP for lunch by March 28 by calling 859-259-2746 x344.
