ASR Diplomat Of The Breed

The ASR Diplomat of the Breed program honors American Saddlebreds that have profoundly changed the life of an individual, made a positive impact on a community or have been outstanding promotional representatives of our breed.

Applicant must be a current ASHA Member.

Horse must be a registered American Saddlebred with their Certificate of Registration in complete order with the American Saddlebred Registry.

Application Process

Complete the application form (in paper) or use the online form, which includes a short paragraph describing the attributes of your American Saddlebred that meet the criteria for Diplomat of the Breed status.

Two or more photos (jpg, png or PDF accepted at high resolution) must be submitted that exemplify the applicant’s Diplomat of the Breed attributes. Applications may either be mailed via USPS or emailed to l.duncan@asha.net

The Diplomat of the Breed committee will review submissions and select one honoree per month that will be featured on the ASHA/ASR website and the Diplomat of the Breed Facebook page. Those honorees will receive a beautiful leather halter with nameplate courtesy of our generous sponsor Freedman’s.
